Quick thoughts on Friday.
April 16, 2006
Well, The Separation at The Montague Arms (New Cross) was not bad, but the ‘Popstarz’ night at the Scala (Kings Cross) was even better, probably due to the fact that me and James were loaded with Becks bottled beer and every tune that was played just did not want to make us stop dancing at all – well, at least I didn’t want to stop dancing and go home, anyway!
When I hugged Jack goodbye on Friday evening, I caught a smell of him and it made me want to cry. You know when you just remember the way how a person smells, and it makes you remember so many little things that you had previously (almost) forgotten? It was one of those moments. This doesn’t mean a thing, other than I have a heart and need a friend in that boy. Some things are just nice to remember. Other things, however, are not. Especially when you are awoken by a phone to the face at 04:30 in somebody else’s bed.
